Events
The conference annually serves as a medium for numerous significant events important for the traffic modelling industry and allows participants to sign agreements on strategic cooperation, to conduct presentations of new books and publications, and to discuss drafts of new state standards in the field of transport planning.

A NEW BOOK
Data mining methods and procedures in transport planning and traffic management
The book is a translation and adaptation of several documents of the German Road and Transportation Research Association (FGSV) on traffic management. The book provides a description of the procedures for data mining of traffic parameters, forecasting the occupancy of parking spaces, dynamic network management based on Bluetooth detectors, etc.
Additionally, the book describes the requirements for video surveillance systems for traffic, the rules for their installation, the procedure for working with data received from cameras, camera installation acceptance procedure.

On May 20, in St. Petersburg at SPbPU, we will hold a live session, in which no more than 100 people can take part. For the rest of the conference participants, we will organize an online broadcast with a separate interactive ecosystem.
On May 21, online workshops will be organized in dedicated video studios in SPbPU. Conference participants will be able to connect to online workshop broadcasts of their choice.

Every year the conference "Transport Planning and Modeling" brings together thousands of specialists from hundreds of cities who develop transport planning processes, implement projects in the field of traffic flow modeling and ensure the operation of the transport systems of cities and regions.

PAPER SUBMISSION
The full paper submission deadline is May 20, 2021
Registrants are invited to submit an abstract and paper for consideration for poster or oral presentation. The Scientific Committee will select paper submissions from conference registrants as posters and oral presentations at the meeting.
Be sure that your paper is in strict accordance to template.
Please note: You must register for the conference prior to submitting a paper. Paper received from anyone who has not registered to attend the conference will not be considered.
Papers which are prepared for publishing should be original research manuscripts, never published before and not under consideration for publication in any other conference proceeding (journal etc.).

All papers are supposed to present novel research results of international interest.

Papers need to be related to the main topic of the conference and conference topic fields. We publish papers written in good English only.

All papers are reviewed by a native speaker.

All papers are thoroughly checked for plagiarism.

Acceptable minimum of originality is 90%.

All papers should be not less than 6 pages (recommended 8-12 pages).
Ethics
Please read the detailed Elsivier Publication Ethics (Elsevier recommendations and COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors). If a paper contains figures or tables taken from other sources, the author must get the respective permission for reproduction them from the corresponding publishers.
Authorship
Number of authors in a single paper is 6 person maximum. One person can be the author of not more than 2 articles. The corresponding author is the person chosen within the group to be responsible for all contact and correspondence with the periodical. The corresponding author should ensure that all appropriate co-authors (and no inappropriate co-authors) are included in the paper, and that all co-authors have seen and approved the final version of the paper and agree on its submission for publication.
